Come join us for a Skin Cancer Safety Talk held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 11 am to 12: 30 pm at the Sunnyslope Historical Society, 737 E Hatcher Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85020.

What to Expect:

  • Learn risk factors, prevention and tips on detection.
  • Learn about AIM at Melanoma.
  • Sun safety giveaways and sunscreen samples will be available.
  • Engage with others about skin safety.

Presentation will be given by Ann from AIM at Melanoma

Ann is a melanoma survivor since January 2020 and an AIM at Melanoma volunteer since October 2022. She is a Sun Safety Advocate locally for AIM and brought the inaugural, annual Steps Against Melanoma walk to the valley this past November, including being the designated walk honoree. Ann is also a City of Phoenix volunteer at two library branches as a “Sit, Stay, Read” team with her therapy dog, Maggie. Maggie and Ann also go to public schools upon request
