Calling all volunteers and those who have been thinking of volunteering!
Have you ever wondered about how you might help out at the Sunnyslope Historical Society Museum? We need to come into the 21st Century and begin the great undertaking of digitizing our archives. One Saturday, June 8, 2024 we will be hosting a class open to volunteers and those who are interested in volunteering where we will teach you the basics of how to digitize museum items.
No experience required! You don’t need to have technical experience! If you can work a file cabinet, we can teach you how to help us in this manner. (If you don’t know how to work a file cabinet, but can work a computer or smartphone, you can also learn this.)
The class will be taught by Alisa Phillips, of Phoenix Tech Gurus, and will be held from 10 am to noon at the Sunnyslope Historical Society Museum.
